Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions outline the framework for our services at Higher Healing.

By booking a package, programme or consultation with Higher Healing, you are signing up to these terms and conditions.

If there is anything you would like clarified, then please speak to your practitioner about this in your first consultation. In your first consultation we will discuss and agree on the support you require from your practitioner and working together we will review the progress and aims as we go along.

The content of the higherhealing.co.uk website and our health plans are intended for general use and are not designed to diagnose or treat or replace medical advice.

Do not cease conventional treatment or medication for any reason without consulting a doctor.

 

Package Length and Expiration

Based on our professional experience, we deliver the best results for our clients when we see them on a regular basis. As a result, every package that we offer lasts for a set period of time, 'Package Length', to ensure regularity and commitment from the client. The Package Lengths are as follows:

Energy Psychology: 4 Session Package - 2 months, 8 Session Package - 4 months, 12 Session Package - 5 months

Holistic Health: 6 Session Package - 2 months, 11 Session Package - 4 months, 16 Session Package - 5 months

The package starts from the date you purchased a package. For example, if you signed up to an Energy Psychology 4 Session Package on the 14th January, the expiration date for that package will be midnight on the 14th March. 

Any sessions that remain on a package after the Package Length has passed will be lost and cannot be redeemed or refunded. If there are extenuating circumstances please let your practitioner know as soon as possible and they will determine whether an extension to your package expiration date will provided. Please note this is not guaranteed and is at the discretion of your practitioner. 

 

Payment Terms 

Packages and Programmes

Fees are agreed upon in advance of the appointment and are paid at the end of a face-to-face appointment in cash only or in full in advance of an online appointment.

Prices of all our packages are available on our Pricing Page.

Payments can be made via our online payment system, cash (in-person) or through a BACS transfer (invoice to be sent to you).

Functional Testing

Higher Healing works with a number of accredited private laboratories that provide a wide range of functional testing to meet the needs of our clients. These testing companies include, but are not limited to Regenerus, Genova Diagnostics, Cambridge Nutritional Science, and Biolab.

Client fees for agreed functional tests are payable by the client direct to the testing company and are in addition to any consultation fees. We do not offer refunds on functional tests. 

Supplementation

Higher Healing works with a number of accredited suppliers of high-quality natural supplements that meet the needs of our clients. The main suppliers used are Natural Dispensary and Amrita Nutrition.

Client fees for agreed supplements are payable by the client direct to the supplier and are in addition to any consultation fees. We do not offer refunds on supplements. 

 

Flexible Payment Plans

Higher Healing offers flexible playment plans for all the packages we provide. Dependant on the the length of the package a 2, 3 or 4-month flexible payment plan will be provided. There is no interest added to the total package fee when paying through a flexible payment option. 

The flexible payment plan works on an automated monthly payment system. Based on the day you sign up to a package, the agreed monthly fee will be taken out of your account every month on the day until the full amount has been reached. For example, if you signed up on the 14th day of the month, the following payments will be on the 14th day of the following months until the full amount has been reached. 

If there are insufficient funds in your account when the monthly fee is being withdrawn, the payment will fail and your package will be automatically cancelled. You will receive an automated email to confirm this cancellation. You will need to contact your practitioner at this point to get your package reactivated.

Cancelling a Flexible Payment Plan

If you are in the middle of a package being paid through a flexible payment plan and you wish to cancel, you will be charged for each session at the full session rate and the benefit of the lower per-session fee (that comes with signing up for a package) and will be void. 

Full prices for our sessions are as follows:

Energy Psychology: Holistic Root Cause - £150, Follow-Up Session: £100

Naturopathic Nutrition: Holistic Root Cause - £250, Follow-Up Session: £140

An invoice will be sent you for any outstanding payment that is required and you will have 30 days to pay this outstanding amount. Failure to pay this amount may result in legal action against you which you acknowledge when signing to these terms. 

Any overpayment will not be refunded.

Once an automated monthly payment has been processed and payment has been taken from your account, this payment cannot be refunded unless the conditions listed in our refund policy below are met. 

 

Refund Policy

We will always aim to provide you with a quality service and want you to be satisfied with your journey with Higher Healing.

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you are entitled to a refund within 14 days of making a purchase. Due to the nature of our service, we have extended this refund period to 28 days. 

If work has begun on your case or booking requirements within those 28 days, a refund will be offered, but you will be liable to pay for the value of the service that is provided up to the point you cancel plus any online transaction processing fees if applicable.

The right to cancel will be lost during the cancellation period if the service is provided in full before the 28 days elapses.

If for any legitimate medical reason you are no longer able to complete any of your consultations, we will refund you for any outstanding unused sessions. We may ask for you to provide us with satisfactory proof from your GP.

If your practitoner is unable to fulfil your booking, due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, we will endeavour to find you an alternative practitioner to continue your programme. If this is unacceptable or not possible, Higher Healing may offer you a refund for the remainder of the package, at their discretion.

Cancellation of Sessions

If you do need to cancel an appointment please let your practitioner know at the earliest convenience so we can reschedule your appointment.

You are required to pay for sessions that are missed or cancelled with less than 24hrs notice without extenuating circumstances. A 100% cancellation charge applies if appointments are cancelled with less than 24hrs notice.

Non-attendance of an appointment will also be charged in full.

It is your responsibility to have a working internet connection for consultations via Google Meet. Full consultation charges will apply for scheduled sessions that are unable to connect. There are no additional charges for phone consultations to a UK landline or mobile number.

 

Clients under the age of 18

All children and teenagers are welcome to attend a Higher Healing consultation; they will need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian or the parents must provide written consent (via letter or email) prior to the consultation taking place for the consultation to occur without them present.

 

Confidentiality

The confidentiality of our clients is treated seriously at Higher Healing. There are, however, some limits and exceptions to confidentiality.

If your practitioner has serious concerns about your safety or the safety of another person, our confidentiality policy may be adjusted.

In the health questionnaire, you will be asked to provide your GP’s contact details, as someone we may contact. Higher Healing keeps a record of your name, contact details and dates and times of appointments. Your practitioner is required to keep brief notes about the focus of your work, which is kept securely. Any reports produced by Higher Healing to evaluate the service contain anonymised data and will not contain any identifying information of clients. Complaints & Concerns

If you have any concerns or problems with the service provided, which you have not been able to resolve with your practitioner, you may raise this by emailing hello@higherhealing.co.uk who will support you in finding a resolution.

Higher Healing works based on Naturopathic and Holistic principles, aligned around using natural and safe therapies to bring balance back to the body. In any health protocol that recommends nutrition, supplementation and lifestyle activities; as a client of Higher Healing, you acknowledge that there may be a negative reaction to these recommendations provided and you accept this risk.

Higher Healing is not liable to cover the costs of supplementation and functional testing recommended to clients. We are only able to refund the costs of any outstanding consultations if a health package has been purchased minus any online transaction processing fees.

 

Working with multiple consultants at Higher Healing

Your practitioner may suggest you see other members of the Higher Healing team to support your goals. Information about your symptoms and condition will be discussed between team members in a secure area so that we can provide you with a coordinated treatment plan. Your practitioner will ask for your informed consent to share information with the team and ask if there is anything that you want to remain confidential.

 

Scope of practice

Our practitioners at Higher Healing work in accordance with the British Association of Applied Nutrition & Nutritional Therapy’s ethical framework, the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners and are supported by the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).

We will never recommend Nutritional Therapy, Naturopathy, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) & Matrix Reimprinting, Medical Intuition, as a replacement for medical advice and always refer any client with ‘red flag’ signs or symptoms to a medical professional. We will also frequently work alongside a medical professional and communicate with other healthcare professionals involved in a client’s care to explain any nutritional therapy programme that has been provided.

The client understands and agrees to the following:

  • I am responsible for contacting my GP about any health concerns.
  • I give permission for you to contact my GP regarding any agreed aspects of my case.
  • If I am receiving treatment from my GP, or any other medical provider, I should tell him/her about any nutritional strategy provided by my practitioner. This is necessary because of any possible reaction between medications and the nutritional programme.
  • It is important that I tell my practitioner about any medical diagnosis, medication, herbal medicine, or food supplements I am taking, as this may affect the health programme.
  • If I am unclear about the agreed health protocol/food supplement doses/time period, I should contact my practitioner promptly for clarification.
  • I must contact my practitioner should I wish to continue any specified supplement programme for longer than the originally agreed period, to avoid any potential adverse reactions.
  • Recording consultations using any form of electronic media is not permitted without the written consent of both me and my practitioner.

We request that our clients note the following:

  • The degree of benefit obtainable from our therapies may vary between clients with similar health problems and following a similar health programme due to the uniqueness of each individual.
  • Our health advice will be tailored to support health conditions and/or health concerns identified and agreed upon between both parties.
  • Our practitioners are not permitted to diagnose or claim to treat medical conditions.
  • Our health advice is not a substitute for professional medical advice and/or treatment.
  • All tests recommended are through laboratories that abide by GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice). These laboratory tests are only available to practitioners, to ensure the results are handled, analysed and interpreted with the correct level of knowledge and training required to best serve the client. An interpretation fee is payable from the company to the practitioner to cover the time this takes prior to your consultation.
  • Supplements are typically recommended from Natural Dispensary or Amrita Nutrition, both of which source and sell a range of international products of high quality. A commission agreement is in place between the company and the practitioner and a percentage of this is passed on to you my client as a discount. Some supplements may be available cheaper elsewhere and you are welcome to source the exact product recommended from another supplier.
  • Standards of professional practice in nutritional therapy are governed by the CNHC Code of Conduct.
  • These terms and conditions cover the practice of Naturopathy, Nutritional Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Matrix Reimprinting, Medical Intuition and Spiritual Wellbeing principles within your consultation, and your practitioner will make it clear if he or she intends to step outside this boundary by referring you to other specialist consultants.

 

Changes to Terms and Conditions

Higher Healing reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions as we may deem necessary from time to time or as may be required by law. Any changes will be immediately posted on the Website and you are deemed to have accepted the terms of the Terms and Conditions on your first use of the Website following the alterations.
